Through the voices of young people we
serve, the May 16th State of the Child Luncheon provided the opportunity
to share the issues and challenges faced by youth today and raised funds
to support services of Directions for Youth & Families.
We express deepest appreciation to
our sponsors and guests for supporting the eighteenth
Annual State of the Child Luncheon and for sharing the
stories of abuse, neglect, violence and heartache faced
by many, many children in our community. You have helped
many children find a little direction in their lives and
hope for success and promising futures.
Special Events: Get Involved
Directions for Youth & Families' two
annual event's raise funds for programming, educate
about challenges faced by families and children in our
community, and entertain with performances by young
people in the Short Stop theatre, dance, and music
ensembles.
