Welcome to the Crittenton Community School!

Many middle school students struggle with a variety of challenges in the classroom. They can become frustrated and discourages, and soon run the risk of failing or dropping out altogether.

At Crittenton, students work through their difficulties with one-on-one teaching time, using alternative learning methods individualized to each student.

Our mission is to empower students to become successful in the classroom and responsible members of community through a nurturing, individualized educational experience.

  • How it Works

with a teacher in a local library or community center
    • educational community field trips
    • preparation for transition into secondary and post-secondary options
    • additional support for themselves and their
families through services from Directions for Youth and Families
