Welcome to The Crittenton Community School

Tucked somewhere in the corners of all our minds are memories of our school years. Unfortunately, for some of us, those memories may not be fond or happy ones. School may have been a struggle - a difficult challenge to rise to each day...

It is for today's students with these similar feelings of struggle and challenge that Directions for Youth & Families founded The Crittenton Community School.

Our Mission:

To provide an alternative educational program that addresses intellectual, social and emotional growth for middle school students who are struggling in a traditional academic setting.

How it Works:
Students in grades 6-9 enrolled at The Crittenton School receive individualized learning plans from a highly qualified team of teachers.

The students receive:

one to one personalized instruction with a teacher
small group exploratory opportunities
the opportunity to participate in extensive academic and socio-emotional programs to prepare them for their future
Our School is flexible, innovative and responsive!
